Position: Client Payments Executive

Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within a newly built payments and fraud team in online gaming industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the reviewing of new account registration, customer deposits and the processing of payments through the various methods that are offered as well as offering second line support to the help desk for any payments related queries.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviewing of new accounts registration.
• Reviewing of deposits as well as internal protocols for fraud detection and KYC requirements and guidelines.
• Making payment transactions using a broad range of payment methods, including credit/debit cards, Bank Transfers, cheques and e-wallet solutions whilst meeting relevant deadlines on a day to day basis and in line with service level.
• Resolving customer payments queries.
• Checking account / user activity to identify possible fraudulent transactions and liaise with the fraud team regularly.
• Involvement in creating and implementing new processes to deal with all payments with highest level of efficiency.
• Liaising with other internal functions as well third parties such as banks and other payments providers.

Key Candidate Requirements

• Excellent educational background – numerate degree ideal.
• Highly numerate, with excellent attention to detail.
• Focused on meeting deadlines and service level agreements.
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills – a real team player.
• Naturally inquisitive – able to spot unusual payment requests / account activity

• Ability to work weekends.

Preferable but not essential

• Knowledge of Money Laundering detection methods and/or fraud risk management.
• Experience in the online gaming or betting industry.
• Knowledge of online poker.
• 1-2 years previous experience in working within an online payment function.
• Demonstrable knowledge of global payment methods.

Position: German/Spanish-speaking Customer Service Executives

Description

In our first year almost a million players from all over the world have registered to play in the next-generation poker room, taking it from an upstart newcomer to a major force in the online poker scene in less than 12 months.

Thus, we are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and capable SPANISH and GERMAN Client Service Executives to be part of our rapidly expanding team based in North London.

Key Responsibilities

• To provide service excellence to customers from Spain and Germany
• Handling customer queries and complaints via email and live web chat according to departmental service levels
• Identify reoccurring customer service and/or process issues and provide feedback to the Supervisor/Manager for process improvement
• Share information with Supervisors and actively contribute to the team
• Escalate any customer complaints/issues to the Supervisor in a timely and efficient manner .

Skills/Compentencies

Position: Senior Windows C++ Games Programmer

Description

We are looking for an experienced programmer to join the team developing the client software for PKR.com. The candidate needs DirectX experience, although will also be required to work on other aspects of the client as well. We imagine that the successful candidate will have worked in video game development.

Required skills

• C++ min 5 years commercial experience, including STL programming
• Thorough knowledge of DirectX (We use DX9), including vertex and pixel shaders
• Preferably two or more released commercial video games
• Broad experience of other areas of windows application development including UI development, asset management, software design and structure and tool chain development
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Resourceful and self-motivated

Preferable skills

• Experience using and integrating middleware solutions
• Experience using scripting languages, preferably Python
• Experience of working with the SDK of 3D modelling tools (preferably 3DS Max)
• Experience of working with multiplayer or online software development.

Position: Software Engineer

Description

We are looking for an experienced programmer developing website and backoffice/admin software for PKR.com. The candidate needs .NET/ASP.NET/C#/SQL SERVER experience. The ideal candidate will have worked on a large, highly transactional financial system.

This role has some responsibility for developments to our CRM/Email system so experience of Responsys or similar would be of interest. An ability to communicate complex technical issues to non technical staff is also of great importance.

Position: C++ Programmer

Description

We’re looking for someone who can take responsibility for significant chunks of functionality, and produce quality solutions without too much supervision. We’re a small team and require people to be involved in a range of areas. There is an overlap with the skills we’re looking for and the finance industries.

In the future we’re going to be developing increasing amounts of software using the .NET framework, so skills in that area are of interest. Also skill in Python and the Boost C++ library helps.

Interest in poker a bonus.

Required skills

• Significant experience of Windows Server programming in a high availability environment using the core Win32 api
• Databases, SQL-Server, TSQL. Ideally in systems with a high transactional throughput.
