Next-generation online poker site PKR.com has today announced the launch of its new ‘Saturday Big Shot’ tournament. Running every Saturday* at 20:00 GMT, the $500 tournament will be the largest buy-in event to be found anywhere online on a Saturday night.
Designed to specifically cater for experienced tournament players, the ‘Saturday Big Shot’ will feature an ultra-playable structure offering 10,000 starting stacks and 20 minute levels.
The final table of the tournament will be filmed for PKR Tournament TV, a unique poker show that is broadcast to over 100 million homes across Europe and is available in the UK on Sky channel 166.

Satellites to the ‘Saturday Big Shot’ are running throughout the week, providing players with smaller bankrolls with the chance to play the high roller’s event for as little as $5.06.
