07 August 2009 – Poker in the Park returns to London’s Leicester Square from August 13 to 14 with lead sponsor PKR.com joining with Bluff Europe to headline another two-day poker extravaganza.
This year’s event promises to be the biggest and best yet with thousands of poker enthusiasts expected to flock to London’s west end to partake in what has been billed as Europe’s largest consumer poker show. Kicking off at 17:00 on Thursday 13 August, those in attendance will be able to participate in free tournaments rolling every hour at the PKR Poker Dome, as well as meet celebrities, hear lectures from top poker pros, get massages from the lovely Xhilarate girls, and take advantage of free poker lessons and discounted poker merchandise.
Pros already signed up to the lecture roster include Peter Eastgate, Neil Channing, Nik Persuad and Jamie Gold. Ex-actor turned poker pro Michael Greco and Irish football legend Tony Cascarino will also be at hand to give players of all levels expert guidance and game analysis.
