It's for real money ring games, if you enter a pot and suddenly get disconnected then the pot that you have entered stops and anyone else playing in the hand then goes into a side pot. You will go to showdown and only have claim over your pot and not the side pot. You get 2 then you have to request more. And it only works for real money ring games, not for tournaments or play money tables.

is this after the flop...must be.....to be in the hand right... suppose your the big blind someone raises ...the bet dosnt get to you so have no chance to call the raise then get disconnected?

^^, yah, I once won a hand with 56s cause I was sb and got d/c, it was 2c/4c stakes with two other players shoving, I got my 2c back plus another 4c minus 1c rake. And then I got accused of cheating lol - yep, I didn't want to forfeit my 2c (I was 120BB deep btw)

Lol - my connection isn't so good and whilst not all the time, I do get my share of dc's and it's amusing the amount of times I've been called a cheat even when there's no real reason i would be and I am NEVER back to the table immediately, my dc's generally last at least 2minutes.
