Donk; donkey: a bad poker player. Most of the time someone who makes blatantly bad plays and gets away with it; as opposed to someone who plays passively and gets lucky, who is more often called a fish.

Dealing to Neospace
Neospace calls $20 <--- Fold here

Don't worry too much about the abuse; you'll get it most often from players worse than you. You're gonna make bad plays even when you're awesome and you're gonna get lucky even when you're terrible.

agree with robbieweeza, fold 5-3 suited in early position at the start of a mtt, try reading discomonkeys thread in raise your game iv added the link below.

You may have played it badly, he probably played it worse. His bet-sizing is shit.

Im not so sure about his 5-3 play being bad. Ok yes you could argue that from such early position it is risky, but if you can limp into the flop with hands like this that have strong flush/straight potential, you can often win big with hands that people would never guess you have. I often find that in the early stages of tournies, the hands that win me the most cash are not the premium hands but suited connectors or low pocket pairs that hit big on the flop. Then again, maybe the reason i am so bad is because I play like this! happy

5-3off, early position, multiway pot with someone betting into you and your drawing a to the ass-end of a draw heavy board... thats a fold for me.

Lol thanks mate. If you play long enough, everyone has to get lucky at some point. I think I even heard a few people mutter "f***ing croop" along the way as I donked my way through. Just ask SSlay. :-)

Like others have said, not the greatest call pre but meh, you got in cheap and won a big pot with cheese.

I'm guessing this is a low buy in but I dont personally like your min re-raise on the river, its a shove or call for me.

GL on the felt.

Someone that pushes allin every hand preflop regardless of what theyve got, and continuously using the loser emote, and they make it a bingo/coin toss game because they are not good at the game lol
