Dealing to xxxNEO
UTG starts off this multiway pot by limping, as does MP. Getting dealt 56 of diamonds, I call as well. steven7212 in the SB comes along to complete the family pot.
However, hannibal1987 in the SB decides to make it $5 OOP. The limper UTG bogoss31 calls the raise, MP folds.
The pot is already holding quite some money and I have position, so I decide to call as well, counting on steven7212 in the SB to put in his money too - which he does.
So we go four-handed to the flop, with some dead money in already.
The flop comes 4d 2h 8d, giving me a double gutted str8 flush draw.

steven7212 pretty quickly shoves his $50.57 into a pot of around 25$, hannibal1987 calls with his last $18.70. Pot standing at a littly shy of 100$ now. The SB folds, leaving me with my decision.

I need 50$ to call a 100$ pot. Something is fishy about this overshove from the BB (thinking about an overpair with a backdoor flush draw). However, i might not have the highest flush draw and definetly some dirty outs versus a set.

After using up almost my entire time bank, I decide to call - considering all my outs, even excluding the dirty ones in an estimated 50% of the times.

I was up against steven7212 with Top pair and K kicker (no diamond) and hannibal1987 showing Qd Ad for two overs and the nut flush draw.

Needless to say, the turn brings a blank 9s and the river complets my str8 with the 3h.

Ship it!!!

i wrote the most awesome response to this thread yesterday, but it didnt post... so now you'll never know.
i will add however that scotty and satfat are so obviously right that ive switched the brain off and made a few small mistakes in similar spots.

the non-diamond on the flop being a 2 is crucial, if its an 8 there's a little more thought needed in such spots. the important thing is that if you think like those two degens^^ you'll mostly be making good plays and only occasionally make tiny mistakes in these huuuuge draw-no fold equity spots.
