Lol, this is a great strategy. Let's examine your theory.
Roulette:
48% chance to win every time - Martingale says double your stakes every time and you'll eventually win your initial stake - unless you're really unlucky.
Poker:
If you're a decent player, maybe you have a 60% chance to win at the lowest level (5$). Then your edge slowly disappears until you're playing HU pros at the top level, with maybe a 30-35% chance of winning.
Play at the highest level where you have a big enough edge to make a profit.
By all means, though, Martingale your roll away if that's what floats your boat
I'm sure the Alex and the others who sit around with open high stakes HU tables won't mind.
