Who decides whether a thread must be removed ?

You know why I am asking and I fully understand why the particular thread was removed.

My guess it was because it was deemed as detrimental to PKR interests ; but surely the forum is the place to inform and debate such issues in-order to placate customers/punters and assist management in decision making to help in the continuing success of what is a fantastic poker site !

i had a thread deleted earlier tonite.

i know why it was removed, but it is infuriating to know that i must have a valid point, and as such because the system is so fucked up, i have my threads deleted.

exactly where are u meant to discuss matters that arent allowed on the pkr forum?? facebook, 2+2,etc?????

please dont say customer services btw

just a side note, coz im still twisted...

if i went into a supermarket with a complaint...

would i be told to leave and shut up coz i wasnt allowed to mention anything detrimental to the company, or could affect other customers??

anyway im not goin all over it again.
i love this site, been playin here for over 2 years,
all i wanted was the same terms as any new player who joined by mentioned promo sites.

/looks forward to admonishment.

if it wasnt fro the HU live tourn, im sure my post would have been ripped down earlier. thank god for "partying"

I removed the threads in question. The Community Managers (Danski and Jabba) have instructed us (the Player Mods) as to what we should be removing. If you are unhappy about my decision, feel I have acted inappropriately or just want an explanation, please contact them via community@pkr.com. The threads still exist (they're just hidden from public view) and can be reinstated should they disagree with my decision.

The fact that the the threads were removed is not related to whether you had a valid point or not, or because you were making a complaint. They were deleted due to the general subject matter. PKR do not allow third party offers or any specific individual deals they make with players to be discussed on their website.

If you were to stand on the shop floor, making your complaint to all their customers, they'd almost certainly ask you to leave.

Ty Sini. What stays up and what gets removed, is down to myself, Jabba and the PKR management. There are some topics which are simply not permitted, however eloquently they are brought up. If you want to talk about this topic with PKR, then customer service will pass your query onto the powers that be, who will then get in touch direct. #

There are many areas on which we will not permit discussion on our own forums, for a variety of reasons, but we do have many ways to reach us to discuss an issue direct.

We don't allow any discussion about individual accounts on the forum.

The issue you want to talk about absolutely cannot be discussed here - this is for forum and community issues, not personal account issues... it is nothing to do with the community and it's not Dan or my decision, so there can be no positive result of discussing it here. You would need to take those questions to Jake, the VIP team or to CS.

My advice would be collar Jake at PKR Live and ask him 1 to 1. happy

np, calmed down a little bit now.

apologies to sinistar, hope u realize anything posted wasnt at you directly, and i know what situation you were in regarding what you could/couldnt post in reply. like i said, was never at aimed at you.

my issue still stands but nvm, i was in the wrong for bringing it to the forum. apologies for that. i do know what shouldnt be posted on here, just saw red for a while.
