bit off the poker topic but . . .my sister is looking at getting married on July 3rd 2010. Has anyone done the maths to work out if England might be playing in the quarter final on this day? or does the group mean that they play on the friday (assuming they get to qtr final stage of course)- just not sure if i should RSVP a yes or no!!

They haven't made the draw yet so no way you will know until then.

You'd really miss your sister's wedding for a football match?

Draw is on the 4th Dec, we'll be knocked out in the quarters anyway mate, so if it does fall on the same you won't be missing much.

Yes I am affaid no way of knowing until the draw on the 4th. However if we play France in the last 16 you will be safe for your wedding as France will be playing Handball not football.

England dont play handball so we will lose.

Thanks for the replies - 4th December you say - I am sure I can say that a postal strike stopped my RSVP until after then.
