I guess I'll be the first to give you a real answer...

No, you do not deserve to be abused, because no one deserves to be abused for how they play. That said, you did play this hand awfully. You have 8BB, you should be in shove/fold mode by now. Calling a min raise pre for 25% of your stack with Q high is not a yellow brick road towards winning a tournament. Same thing goes for the flop, all in or fold.

You say you hadn't played a lot of hands and showed many winning hands. How does this make a call better? It makes a bet or raise look more powerful! That's what a tight image is for; agression. Passive play will get you nowhere.

Well it got him somewhere here. I know what you mean though playin a Qhi flush prayer in the D thru but its a far better strategy than sitting there being the nit! I do like 2 play JQsooted but wouldnt want to shove with it.
I stopped playin DT's coz the reward is not enough to endure the boredom of the nits... and when they get to 1xbb and hit it after everyone calls them in.... makes me want to throw them off rudy poo bridge!!!
I got some abuse the other a day from a ladette... I wont say lady coz she AINT one INNIT!!!

Normally I would agree with this but its a double through so differnet rules apply.

Calling a min raise in late position with JQs is fine and still leaves you enough chips to play if you miss. The re-raise on the flop is ok but might as well be an allin as you can't ever fold.

The AK guy is the one who played it bad. Min raise preflop is just asking for action. Min bet leadout - wtf is that all about and shoving the re-raise, which can't be folded, with air and a flush draw is just hoping for a miracle lol

ty all for the replies.as i said im no pro ,but think it better to call than push preflop as whiskey says it leaves me chips to play if i miss, but im still learning and this is another lesson.thanks again 4 the advice.
