Would you believe it,Moved into my new place 2 days ago..Had Broadband and Phoneline all setup to be activated yesterday and what happens?

No Phoneline connection sad
So after 3 different calls to BT and 3 different people telling me

"The account hasnt been activated but everything is running on time"

"Oh no i am afraid there is an error on the Broadband line but the status hasnt been updated"

"Im not sure what they are talking about sir? we have no faults showing up and all will be active by midnight"

So i eventually get through toAbdul from BT who tells me
"Yes sir i believe there is a fault with your Phone line"

(Why the f*** couldnt they test this line out prior to yesterday to ensure it was ok?)

Anyway should be back 2mo fingers crossed wink

Rant over

Moved offices 2 weeks ago. Advised BT 6 weeks beforehand so they could divert numbers, collect equipment etc. All arranged no probs. Checked arrangements 3 days before the move - no record of it. Re-arranged everything. Moved. No divert, no collection. Eventually get the divert on 5 days later after about 17 calls and emails. To say are useless is the understatement of the century. The equipment is in my garage lol.

And the moral of this story is...................?

BT are as much use a johnny machine in the vatican. For a more reliable connection, higher speed and better customer service all round there is only one solution.

Carrier pidgeons!
