Can't remember who it was that said on here once "that some people are just luckier and get lucky at the right times". I think that is absolutely spot on. I may get all my luck in a $10 STT (my top pairs and sets don't get done by runner flushes etc..) then have terrible luck in a bigger MTT.
I have watched some of these guys before and of course there is great skill and discipline involved but they do get incredibly lucky. If i were to mirror their play i would still lose without a doubt
.
Edit: I would also like to add that i do believe that these guys have done so much good work to earn their 'luck' previous to their double ups eg. great lay downs in marginal situations or a 'bad feeling' about a hand where most would shove. And that is the edge they have i believe....
