Hey there!

Are profit tracking and graphing software for PKR not allowed to be used? Thought I would rather ask when it came to these sort of things, rather than find out later it was banned, and get banned in return for it! :p

Thanks.

No, they're not banned. 3rd party tools are a potential security risk though so you won't exactly find PKR endorsing them. You should be safe with any of the main, established, trusted ones though. I believe it's still the case that PT and HEM don't read PKR format hand histories though so you'd also need a converter (hh-convert).

Well I did some looking around and I found something called PokerOfficer, when I downloaded it and ran it, it appears to be just a modifed version of the PKR client. I did NOT install it however, as I was not sure weather modifications to the client were allowed, or weather it is perfectly safe. Would this be something I'd be best asking support about before even installing a tracker? Although it would be REALLY nice if tracking features were built into PKR itself so that third party clients were not needed.

p.s. Pokerofficer does nothing to the PKR client or software in any way.

All it's doing is reading your hand history files and overlaying the information on your screen.
