We are working on 'bumhunting' restrictions, as we are with all other tables, but for now there will be no limit on how many you can sit at.

I do not know the precise details of how players are approved by the cardroom and security teams, but I would imagine there are, at the very least, a number of standard security requirements (e.g. account verified) that need to be met. As I said, you can contact highstakes@pkr.com for more info.

PS - lobby defaults are a very interesting subject, one which deserves much discussion. I expect to see various changes this year. On some levels, I agree that the lowest stakes should appear first rather than the highest stakes, although if it were possible, the busiest tables should probably be first. There may be some overlap there ofc.  

Can't post usage stats for certain tables, I'm afraid. But I saw them myself, and it was overwhelmingly clear (we're talking FL/PL/FR games here) that there was no demand. The little that was will hopefully be encouraged into other similar games, of which there will always be a table open.

In other news, back by (not inherently) popular demand, $10/$20 and $25/$50 will be returning today. As with a number of other sites, these tables will be restricted. If you are not able to sit and play, please email us at highstakes@pkr.com to find out more.  

See you've found it. It is now officially available (but still only to Silver+). Later this month the restriction will be removed and anyone (even non-PKR users) will be able to read it (that goes for all future issues).  

A variety of interesting views here, all of which we take into consideration. I will repeat - we want to implement restrictions on HU tables as soon as we can, and take further steps to ensure the health of the poker economy in addition to ensuring the PKR experience is one of the best out there.

We are also working on the $10/$20-$25/$50 issue - and on being able to host these games again. I suspect we will have more news on this today or next week, which will assuage those with genuine concerns. We shall see.

As for removing games which were fun - we have not removed any templates which were attracting meaningful demand, and the removal of those will help the state of others around it.
