You're wrong. If the donkey did win, it wouldn't have made this post.

You should choose style depending on hand. Like if you get KK and there are bad players in the blinds you can play TAG and if you get something like J7s you can play LAG.

Hmm, really? LAG is about constant pressuring, say 28/24 and TAG is about selective aggression, say 21/17. You can't chop and change a strategy based on what hand you get? You can certainly balance your range mix it up by adding J7s.

Presume you just didn't mean what you said.

Yes I did. If you get a bad hand, lets say T5os, no TAG would ever play such a bad hand. To play it you might need to play LAG.

You can allmost allways play TAG with something like KK, its just such a strong hand. I say allmost because like allways in No Limit poker there are exceptions.

Vs unknown assumed fish I think its a good spot for kind of a small turn raise. If you raise to 42 he cant really bluff you since you look strong and you very well could have a set or 65. He will probably go into potcontrollmode and just call and check river with TT+ OP's and better 9's. In those cases you loose less than you would have if you just call and then call his riverbet.
Assuming you check behind river. But thats another discussion, you could often valuebet small I think.

This is vs a random player and besides the kinda large range of legitimate hands you get value from, like worse 9's, 54, 55, hearts, random 5's etc, I wouldn't at all be surprised if you get a call from like AK, AQ, A3 "and many other craps".

Raise on the flop isn't bad, it kinda serves the same purpose of allmost potcontrol. But I think it works better on turn.

I also think you played it fine, and I think you can fold river. But it isn't easy, often its a 4, often its a random fishbluff.

lol @ first two hands. Not really a good rep/brag if u like going broke on one pair.

Nice run tho, keep it up!

what do you do first hand then?
check/fold river?
surely his checking behind any hand that doesnt have you beat, and shoving any hand that does.. and your getting sick odds to call with a hand thats good a ton there, so isnt it fine to shove for value when your never folding the river anyways, and his never folding better.

imo 2nd hands fine as well, the guys only got 200 behind, and he picked up nut flush draw + tptk, and under repped his hand by checking flop.

imo i prefer flatting turn and letting him bluff off on any river, assuming disco has kk/jj, but considering stack size his probly getting action from any ace or q + fdraw

Sorry, just LOL.

plz put reply + hands on 2+2, im gonna get some popcorn, k?

IneedUrChips, 09/01/2010

Yes, and while you're at 2+2, post an article about your "never go broke with 1 pair" strategy. Im sure they will appreciate it.

Cant say this thread is really a win in anyway, but you manage to fail even within the fail.
