Isnt it a sad state of affairs when a player ADMITS that what happened was wrong yet the authorities take no notice.
Murderer: 'hey Mr Policeman...I murdered this guy...look I have the axe that I smashed him in the face with'
Police: 'well all the evidence is there but the evidence is not important here, its the decision of Mr Blobby who was close to the scene at the time'
Murderer: 'but LOOK AT THE VIDEO...I clearly took big overhead swing and split his skull apart, bits of his brain even hit the camera'
Police: 'But Mr Blobby didnt see it, so it cant be true, we must continue onwards like pig headed fuckwits'
Murderer: 'yeah you are a pig headed fuckwit, thanks for letting me get away with it, keep employing Mr Blobby, cheers!'
To this day I have never heard a good argument against having video refs in BIG football games. Any idea that it would slow the 'flow' of the game down is nonsense, I really cant understand why football hasnt adopted it yet...and I mean mainly in big games.
Without it...referees are open to all sorts of corruption and human errors since their decision is the final decision. That to me is a piss poor state of affairs.
