It is a notorious situation, that live players cannot adapt to play online, and don't get me wrong, it can also be the same the other way around... Some great online players, cannot cope with the slow paced and in depth psychology that is live poker...
In general, you are not alone, a lot of regular live players prefer playing live, for that very reason - because they cannot adjust to online play... Online play is a lot quicker, players are in general, far more aggressive and take more risks regularly than live players.
In general you need to play more aggressively online, than you would live, as players will walk all over you if you play very passively, You should also be aware that players find it easier to stack off online, as the money does not seem real... therefore you should be calling peoples allins a lot lighter, and gambling more than you normally would...
