well the thing with tournaments as my last few months can tell you, is that you can do the right things every time and still cant win.

you need that bit of luck at the end of the tournaent to make that big score as long as you are putting your money in , in +ev situations, then its all good.

At the end of the day, poker is a game where anyone on a given day can win, and anyone can lose... You just have to keep doing what works, and then the rush will come... Think about it.. sometimes a tournament can basically be decided by a coin flip.... walking away with a 5th place prize of $100 or a 1st of $2000 (to be huge chip leader etc) can all be decided by a flip... some people have the 'ability' to win those flips and then take the $2k 1st prize.. others seem to never win those allimportant flips.... just wait, and it will come...

Yeah, I'm def in the latter camp there. Any advice on how to improve my flipping skills? Should I pray to a different god or do some sort of funny rain dance, except for luck instead?

Nobody Cares or the game, Its an Fresh new situation everytime.
They dont care how you feel or how hard you have tryed. ITs just a new ''mad'' scene everytime.
