It is possible to be disconnected from one table whilst remaining connected to others. Different tables communicate on different port numbers so data can be treated differently in transit between your PC and PKR. (Traffic management systems at your ISP can be the culprit here.)

Having said that however, we've seen this before and it seems to be a PKR related problem. When you get that error at the start of a tournament and you're unable to connect to your table, quickly quit and reload PKR and you should find it reconnects fine. (I thought this problem was fixed several updates ago though and I haven't had any such problems for months.)

ty for the reply sinistar,however i did do that....log out log in for at least 20 min.i gave up after tho cuz i only had 400 chips left in play(speed tourney)

I had this on the $5 terminator last night too, as had a lot of other players, it took ages first of all to actually get on the table at the start of the tourney, even after logging out, and then everytime there was a table move, just couldn't sit and as I said it was happening to lots of us.

i've had similar problem in which loading certain tables i will run into errors and be booted from pkr.. for example i can never access a $10 (6 seat) sit and go but i can access a $5 0r $20. my biggest frustration comes when the problem occurs on a mtt table because i've already paid my registration fee but dont get a game. i've contacted live support and they concluded it could be a problem with graphics card etc.surely this would not effect some tables and not others? ? having read the number of similar complaints on the forum im starting to think it may be a fault at pkr's end. i hope they are aware of this problem and in the process of putting it right or at least helping us to overcome these glitches.

Yep, Happend to me also..
I was playing a 2000 dollar GTD tournament, 250 players left, ranking 9th with a 10.000 stack...
and bam disconnected. I have a 20mbit internet running on a high end pc. Mailed PKR requesting my money back and a compensation because of the missed opportunity of a nr 1 prize of 500 dollars. Lets see what they answer. Enough pokersites to choose from if i am not satisfied.

There have been some technical difficulties affecting MTTs on PKR tonight.

Some tournies totally crashed and automated emails should have been sent out already regarding these and I would expect that payments as per the tournament cancellation policy should happen within 24 hours.

But it seems there were also tournaments that played out on the server with none of the players able to connect. These are more difficult for the card room team to deal with since they have to manually rewind each tournament to the point where the problem occurred to figure out the payments due. In these cases it may take them a little longer.

@Sinistar: would the weekly $1000 Premium Freeroll be one of those MTT's that played out on the server with none of the players able to connect? Guess we get a new ticket?

what makes it all the more worse is that sound it makes whenever you try to connect lol
