what the hell is wrong with people?

why can't people fold a flush draw?

"i'm deepstacked, look at that other deepstack reraising all in to isolate the shortstack, i think i'll call off my ENTIRE stack cos i've got a flush draw"

I'd call my flush draw if it's cheap to do so.

In the case where it means chancing my game on a draw id fold.

Others don't because they think a drawing hand is good enough and OR like jay says - they know it'll come anyway. /gasp

actually, now that i've calmed down, the first flush draw to beat my top set on the flop, also had str draws, so it's not quite as bad as i've made out there.

it was last night's forum invitational, i was just steaming because the flush draw had destroyed my stack, then i got moved table, first hand, flopped top two pair, reraised all in and AGAIN a flush draw beat me, and the second time the villian had NOTHING but a flush draw, i was raging.

i have calmed down now.

but to my original point, someone has to explain to people it is not a coinflip

Most people say, ah flush draw that means 50:50. I never understood what they mean with 50:50....

Dont expect from drunken poker players who are on a downswing and who lost with their sets vs. flush draws, to fold their flush draws.

Most of the time its too late to explain........and if you ask them very politely why u did the call?

They answer-: 'Just for fun', 'Thats poker', 'Piss off loser'.

Give it up.
