ive returned after a year or so away from pkr..cant remember why i left - guess it was after a number of bad beats judging by yesterdays results..you know how it is.but now im back for another go heres how my tournies are going so far today.
sunday
i start the day with a sit n go lose a bit when after i raise with A9 and flop an ace i get beat when A6 rivers his 6 !!! with the blinds getting high i feel i have to call a push with 55 ...well he was spanish but he has JJ.
straight into a tourny where i get tricky reraising all in with 88 on a j25 board - he cant have a jack with such a small bet can he? ....no ...he has QQ !!!!
into another and i win an all in AJ V the short stacks shove of J10 amazingly it holds - with no hands and the blinds upto 200/400 i get dealt A9SP and shove 2200 the bb with 5000 chips calls with Q9h !!! HAPPY DAYS ? NO!! 827 T J gives him a straight ...well played you must be very good .
on to another which doesnt last long - on tilt from the last beat i raise pre with AJ and shove on a 793 board but get called by 810 who turns a jack for his straight...not my day again it seems ..nice call pre mate
undterred by by never ending bad luck i enter another and 2nd hand get dealt QQ . my raise gets called by 35 . flop comes A55 which at least saves me from losing too many.im card dead now and have to raise with K10 the BB calls k73(2 spades) and i repop him after he bets out . he calls and shows A4sp misses his flush dra but the running 5 6 makes his straight - my nemisis hand today it seems.
am in another at the moment and amazingly still in out of 242 there are 66 left.pkr will find a way of getting rid of me i guess but il update later
well it got me - going well out of 242 runners i get dealt k5di in sb - folded to me i raise bb who calls king flops and we get em in -i should have known the set up was coming and we'd both hit top pr -obviously as he has bigger stack he must win and his kikr plays - out 32nd 2 before the cash ...hohoho pkr u crack me up
yes i got a little frisky but jeez was like my 1st move .. how does it know?
anyway back in another the 2k gtd currently 25th of 242 out of 503 maybe this is the one .lol fat chance
lost a couple of pots and back down to average 117 left
60 left so into the cash ...been a long time coming -also entered the 1k deep and doubled up into the top 10 early on
out 41st folded to me in sb ive got J10 - a reasonable shove ? bb calls with AQ - usual pkr scenario there and the board AJ10 ..K LOL ...why does any one not win without hitting straights full houses etc?
oops and out of the 1k the big stack limps on my bb i have 68 and see a flop which comes 6 high he bets i call the board pairs the 5 he bets - i figure he has a flush draw so i shove -he does have the flush draw but also has a 5!!! hes called with Q5 !!! and of course pkr ensure theres an action flop .
people will just not fold to anything its absolutly shocking.
obviously as he has bigger stack he must win - i hope you are joking...

and if you are going crazy and nothing goes your way at some point.....
enter the $0.20 re-buy and shove every hand! and you might even get to "bad beat" someone
and you will feel much better

yeah i may just do that ...but i like to play poker not bingo which seems all the rage nowadays
anyway bit busy today and have only entered 2 tournies so far - i play mega tite i shove QQ get called by AJ and i hold!!! QQ again i shove the shortie on the bb calls with 104 turns a 10 rivers a 10 lol - next hand he shoves again with 22 gets 3 callers and rivers another 2 - 600 to 5000 in 2 hits winning on 2 rivers at odds of over 600/1 , but it aint rigged is it? lol i have to shove a8 and get called by a4 who of course flops 2pr !!!!! i finish around 90th out of 550 or so
on to the next but no luck when i raise with 99 get 1 caller - 10 hi flop ..i must still be good so i shove - he has A10 ...I should have known ..everyones hits online
cant face another 1hr-2hrs play before i get 'unlucky' so with $12 left from my $50 ive got enough for a couple of $5 s+g s - with so many muppets i figure ive a 50/50 chance of cashing - lets see how it goes
