Last nights open....my read on the villian tag who can overplay mid pockets.....what would you do and why?.........

He's telling you he aint folding by raising so much but that shouldn't change that this is a no brainer shove (as Satty said).

You may well be flipping if he has a pair but you outstack him and are really only behind to two hands - KK and AA.

Over shove and isolate.

obv he pushed.. guy showed apair and helost the flip so now hes gonna question what he knopws is theright play based on the result of one hand. LDO

Modge, the wink was cause you were joking, right?

I'm still learning but the only reasons for not shoving with this hand after this action that I can see would be:

1) Satellite (or DT or BreakThru) bubble which might justify a fold depending on villian and hero stack sizes.

2) If there has been one flat caller after raise indicating AA wanting further action.

3) Early stages of MTT where you're 50+ BB deep not interested in flipping for all your stack against aggro donk.

Maybe there are others apart from these.

i would see the timeing of his hand. try and inflowase a idea of what hes got and the posion of the table. plus any way hes got 7335 left after a 10000 bet hes all in like it or not

Yes Sat i shoved he showed the pair of Jacks i put him on and i never caught up. I was wondering if there is any a reason to fold this in a freezeout and esp if you have a good read on the opponent....
