Team PKR Pro Andrew ‘golfpro699’ Teng has made day two of the million dollar guaranteed English Poker Open.

The 24 year old Londoner is currently in 17th position with an above average stack of 43,000. Just 58 of the 213 strong field remain, with the two big stacks being well known pro players Eric Liu (112k) and Roberto Romanello (116k).

Apart from Teng’s success, it was a mixed day for Team PKR Pro with Karl ‘Discomonkey’ Fenton and Ashley Hames busting out in 167th and 97th places respectively. Other leading PKR players to attend the event included Jack ‘doctorfun’ Powell who finished in 74th and giveyourcash who is still going strong.

The $5,000 buy-in English Poker Open is taking place between 15-18 September at the Dusk Til Dawn Club in Nottingham. It boasted a world class field including big names such as Doyle Brunson, Phil Hellmuth, Annette Obrestad, The Devilfish, James Akenhead and Praz Bansi.

The event is being broadcast live on the web at www.englishpokeropen.com. Play resumes at 14:00 BST today.
