One of the things we love most about the new PKR.com website is the number of ways it allows our community to get involved and to have their say.
First up – and most obviously – there are the PKR forums which allow any registered user to read and post to their hearts content. Whether you want to make friends, talk strategy or discuss any aspect of your PKR experience it’s the perfect place to do it. It’s at the heart of the PKR community and is one of the most active poker forums anywhere on the web so is definitely worth checking out.
Our new website also features a comments section at the end of all strategy and community articles, so you can you have a say about each and every article that we publish. We’re hoping that this will allow players to start debates around specific issues, helping both posters and readers to get the most out of the content on offer.
But the opportunity to get involved doesn’t stop there – our new website is all about you, so the more the community collectively put in, the more we think you’ll all get out.
We’ll be adding community content on a daily basis, so if there’s something you want to see covered, let us know. And if you’d like to go one further, over the coming months we’ll be looking to build a network of contributors drawn from within the PKR community itself.
Strategy content
Our aim is to make our new Raise Your Game section the web’s largest repository of poker content to be found anywhere online. Our team of writers and Team PKR Pro’s will be regularly providing top quality strategy content, and we’d love to supplement this with strategy content from our community.
Strategy articles don’t necessarily need to be on any topic, and could simply be you talking through a particular hand of interest explaining what you did at each stage and why. Similarly, if you want to “do a Hansen” and run through a tournament win explaining each hand then we’d love to hear from you too!
Community content
The PKR Community section is dedicated to all things PKR and the people who play with us. If you’d like to get involved, how about writing articles along the following lines;
- Community news such as births and marriages etc.
- Coverage of PKR community meet ups
- Your poker experiences from land-based poker tournaments
- PKR around the world – prizes for the best photos of people wearing PKR gear outside of famous landmarks!
- Photos of you and any of your poker heroes
- Updates on your participation in any poker challenges, prop bets etc
