Dear Betty,

I played the $17k Daily last night and was doing really well until this total donk came on the table and started raising like crazy! He was putting in raises before the flop on almost every hand then shoving all in when the flop came. After a while I figured out there was no way he had anything so decided to take him on when I was dealt 10h-10d in early position. I raised up four times the big before the flop and he re-shoved on me. I insta called and felt like a hero when he turned over a lousy Qd-Kc - that is until four diamonds came out on the board to make his flush!!!

What a jerk! The odds of that happening are like a million to one and when I called him out on it in the chat all he did was laugh at me. This guy is a moron!

Aw poor thing. Let me just wipe away the tears ... of laughter. You clearly were thrown a line and took a nice big bite from the juicy worm this angler was offering. He reeled you in with a coin toss bet and left you flopping about on the table looking like one small fry in his big pond.

Life can be so unfair my little minnow, but you should have cut your losses and swum away on this occasion. We both know you had it all to play for, but you’re just annoyed he had the better hand. It happens! Get over it and come back to me when you’ve grown up into the big shark you wanna be! Until such time, Bad Beat Betty is off to polish her hooks for some big game fishing...

Dear Nexus,

Aunt Betty is away at the moment so let me try and help.

Firstly are you sure that you are old enough to play on PKR? We would appreciate if you could send us a copy of your Birth Certificate.

Secondly, you should know by now that there are a few peeps on PKR what will chase a double belly backdoor open ended flush straight making draw at any cost.

It could also be that the villain was French. If this was the case you also know that they are never going to fold an Ace.

I hope this helps. Good luck at the tables and feel free to purchase a cushion from our PKR store if you find that you can’t quite reach the table.
