Jabba: Thanks for taking time out to chat with PKR, Beyne. You’ve had quite a poker journey! Tell us how you got into poker and how long you’ve been playing?
Beyne: I got into poker about two years ago. There was a boom and many of my friends started playing. I could beat most of my friends in home games, but when I tried playing online I got killed. I spent some time learning the basics (all the important stuff) and before I knew what was happening I was a winning player! I spent almost a year playing low and middle limits. Then, in January, I started to take it all much more seriously and I moved to Malta with two roommates to play professionally.
J: Sounds fun. Bring us back some Maltesers.. Back to your poker career, what was your biggest winning night, and what do you think was the key to your success that evening?
B: My biggest winning night was about $30,000, when I played heads-up NLH $25/$50 on PKR! The key to success for me is not to go on monkey-tilt and I can only do that if I start off by winning lol!
J: Who do you fear or dislike on the high stake cash tables and who do you think fears or dislikes you?
B: I Fear nobody! Haha! In the old days nobody feared me, but nowadays I do actually notice a lot of players who sit out when I join their table. This makes me very sad because I want to gamble a li’l with them, but they don’t seem to want to let me.
J: Very diplomatic ;) What are your future plans in poker and life, and how have you spent/are you spending all that money!?
B: I've taken a two month break from poker and was travelling around the world until recently. Now I'm back to kick some more ass on PKR! I'll be using the money I won to pay for my university bills and as soon as I get my driving license back (silly laws) I'm gonna buy a nice car! A lot of the money will be spent on sex, drugs and rock n roll, and most of the rest will be wasted. Thanks to all my donators and everybody else who loves me!!!
J: How could anyone not love you Beyne! Live long and prosper buddy!
