Are the hard times finally over for PKR Pro Karl 'discomonkey' Fenton?

In his latest blog, discomonkey tells of a change in fortune plus a star-studded trip to the $5K English Poker Open...

I was sat at a table [at the English Poker Open] with the Devilfish on my immediate left and got off to a flying start. I was playing a lot of pots and flopped the nut straight vs top two pair - chipping up from the 10K starting stack to 17K and feeling great. Then I got slightly unlucky with my top pair in a 3-way pot vs the flush draw - who ended up outrunning me by catching a bigger pair.

/sigh

I got moved to the feature table and was soon joined by the lovely Liv Boeree and November Niner James Akenhead, making it a very fun table to play on...
