A PKR pro on sun, sea & living in student-ville

Mr Kingand77 recently invited me for a week's holiday to Malia in Crete, which should provide a relaxing hiatus from poker, something I haven't had for a long time. I'm definitely feeling the burn-out and in need of a break from the grind...

There will be no laptops/computers/poker chips/playing cards, or any other poker related material taken with me, so hopefully the other pros will be able to look after my MTT advice thread while I'm away!

Student in disguise

When I return, I'm moving back to my university accomodation and returning to student life (despite my gap year), just so that I can enjoy the uni atmosphere in the city as well as travelling for poker. It was a tough challenge last year to accomodate all of my work and poker, along with socialising and meetups, but hopefully this year, without the uni work, should be much more relaxed and hopefully bring much more success!

Live poker plans

My plans for live poker in the near future are kind of up in the air at the moment. I'm missing out on the Cardiff GUKPT event next week due to my much-needed holiday, which is a shame but necessary. It's likely that I could play the £1K event at London's International club, plus PKR Live III obviously, then the remaining GUKPT events and their Grand Final, plus Dusk Til Dawn's monthly events and their big £1K event in December. There are also some Gala tournaments which I'm definitely considering, but as I'm so disorganised, we'll see!

Tough times online

As for the way things are going right now, cash table grinding is my only source of income, be it at PLO or NLHE, as MTTs are proving especially frustrating. I'm getting there, but just not getting the breaks in the latter stages, which makes for a lot of wasted hours. Still, I have this holiday to look forward to and then I come back fresh to crush some souls!!

Ciao for now,
