Three bubbles last week and two this weekend, and I've been going deep in some of the very large online tournaments in the last couple of weeks. However, this has not been converted into a large score as yet, although the amount of deep runs I've had has encouraged me that the bigger results won't be too far away.
Asian Poker Tour Macau
One of these bubbles was the APT Macau satellite on PKR. Despite at one point having a 3:1 chip lead HU, the deck very much began working against me, plus my opponent was hitting and thus wouldn't fold to my raises and bets, and my chip lead soon evaporated. The key hand was most certainly when he flopped the nuts and I turned a gutshot flush draw, making my hand look nicer than it was given the situation. Where was my spade on the river??
To go or not to go... I'd love to go to the APT Macau with the rest of the PKR guys - mainly because Marlon67 has playfully (though I'm sure he's serious) threatened to detatch my left arm should I miss this trip. /GULP! We'll see how I feel about it in a week.
I'm definitely looking forward to some live poker in the next couple of weeks. We have the Dusk 'till Dawn deepstack and the GUKPT Luton, which should be tough but very fun events.
Bring on the pokers!!!
