The nominations for the prestigious 2009 e-gaming Review awards are in and it’s good news for PKR as we are shortlisted for three different categories.
The gaming world’s equivalent of the Oscars recognises a wide range of different achievements over the last year, so as you can imagine we are up against some top competition.
No doubt the most sought after award is the Poker Operator of the Year. Staying on the Oscar comparisons theme this would be equal to winning the best actor, and is the award that everyone is after. We are up for this, but face a tough battle against the likes of PartyGaming, 888 and Ladbrokes amongst others.
There’s also a big well done to the marketing department as PKR have picked up nominations for both the offline and online marketing campaigns of the year – the only company to do so.
To top off a great week we’ve also been recognised by the Association of Publishing Agencies who have nominated PKR for the Best Digital solution award. If we thought we had it tough at the e-gaming Review awards, this could be even tougher as we go head-to-head with household brands likes Manchester United, Ray Ban and ITV.
The winners will be announced on the 30 November, so its fingers crossed until then...
