After APT champion zlatan35's induction to the first Hall of Fame spot in February, we welcome another member through the hallowed doors...
#2: Najammq
In a poker world driven by the tournament scene and high profile victories, we take a moment this week to celebrate a different type of success - longevity, consistency and professionalism - in short, the grind!
Since 2006, Najam 'Najammq' Qureshi has exemplified the values of professional cash game poker, while remaining largely devoid of the ego with which the discipline is often associated. With very little fuss and away from the spotlight, Qureshi fast became one of the most skilled and successful PKR players ever to grace the cash game felt, while maintaining a gentlemanly conduct seldom found in the game. He also represents a safe bet to continue his winning form, wise approach and fine conduct for many years to come.
Pure cash game devotees rarely receive the plaudits they deserve, and it gives us great pleasure to give Naj the nod for PKR's modest but not-lightly awarded Hall of Fame induction.
GG sir!
Naj says...
"I am delighted to be part of PKR Hall of Fame. PKR has always been a great experience for me ever since I started playing here in December 2006. This enjoyable journey has taught me a lot, made me learn from my mistakes and grow both as a poker player and as a person. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the PKR team for making this journey more pleasurable and fun!"
