All part of ‘disturbing new trend’.
Fans of PKR TV may be wondering where my co-host Ashley Hames has been these last few weeks. Tearing up the Edinburgh Fringe Festival is the answer.
Hames one-man show The Queasy Confessions of a Sex Reporter, where he puts the most hair raising out-takes from his cult TV show Sin Cities up ‘on trial’, has proven to be a big hit with queues reported ‘around the corner’ for the event. Featuring footage from the show (including segments that got him into trouble with Ofcom) Hames takes the audience through some of his most hair raising adventures through the world’s most bizarre sexual practices.
Not clean enough for one entire row of punters that walked out during a particularly scatological episode when Guardian reporter Laura Barnett attended the show. All part of what she some punters told her was a 'disturning new trend'. But really, what where they expecting from a show called The Queasy Confessions of a Sex Reporter!?
Ashley is performing The Queasy Confessions of a Sex Reporter at Pleasance Courtyard, Edinburgh from from 8-31 August.
