I blame the jetlag for waking up 2am the first night and didn't have anything else to do other than play poker. Hit the $5/10 cash tables and did well. The cash games have been very profitable these last ten days to say at least.
I have also been playing some tournaments during the last few days. Played the $100K PKR Masters on Saturday. Came pretty deep with a 21st place. Sucked to lose an all-in with AA vs 66 with 28 left which could have brought me to 3rd in the chipcounts. Especially when the turn brought the third club, I had Ac and he didn't have 6c. But that happens =) I'd rather win that matchup late in APT Macau.
Victory in the Sunday $30K
I finally won an online tournament again when I took down the $30K on Sunday. Was lucky to send out both 4th and 3rd when I shoved on them with 99 vs AQ which won. And then with KQ vs Waswini's TT. Was a tough HU against a guy that wouldn't die! Lost the first three all-in coinflips, but chipped back every time. Then got it in with JJ vs K7 on a 762 board, just to see a king on the turn. /Boo. Ironically I won the tournament with a coinflip.
At the same time I was deep in a $100K tournament on another site. Just after winning the $30K we were down to 14 players and I reraised all-in with AQs and got a call from AJs for a top 5 chipstack. Turned the flush draw, but he rivered me. That kinda sucked, but overall I'm pretty happy with my play lately. I'm playing creative, gutsy and good poker. Trusting my instinct and winning. Can I ask for more??
