I've been doing all right at the cash tables on PKR, but the real story was the $100K tournament on another site. I came 14th, then 4th the week after and this weekend I finished 2nd... A pretty nice run! So my tournament game is at it's best at the moment. I'm really looking forward to APT Macau now. If I just keep playing like I am at the moment and the heat is still on my side, I have a good feeling for a repeat performance of last year. And hopefully do even better =)
Away from the tables
So do I only play poker 24/7? No! The Tour de France just finished a couple of weeks ago and I have to admit I'm a big fan. After seeing them ride the bike for hours, a friend of mine and I decided that we couldn't be any worse. So we hit the road and went cycling just outside the city and among the wonderful nature we have around here. It was amazing except for the fact that we have loads of mountains in Norway, and of course we had to ride up one of them. LOL. (at least the trip down was fun!).
When we came back home and checked Google maps we found out that the trip was 48.22 KM. HAHAHA. Sickness. After five weeks in Vegas with no exercise whatsoever (except for drinking games), my form wasn't at it's peak. So I'm not kidding when I say my legs were like jelly for hours afterwards.
Asian Poker Tour, Macau
Anyway, Macau is just around the corner. My first tournament down there will be a Heads-Up tourney - I'm looking forward to that. I don't consider myself a HU player, but I have been trying it out for a laugh lately. After that I will be playing both APT and APPT main events, and on top of that all those juicy cash games. Crazy Chinese gamblers, here I come!
