My first word was, "Yeeeeeeee". I think you should also ask my neighbours... lol!
Did you manage to go to sleep?
After I won I took one of the best showers ever and went to bed. I think I only realised on Sunday. I was over the Moon and now I think I am over Mars! But I am back to work so I need to keep my feet on Earth!
What will you do with the money? $27,750 just after Christmas...
Honestly I am still thinking about this, but a big part of the prize will be going towards personnal projects.
How long have you been playing poker?
I started when I was 20 (so seven years ago). I started with playing home games with my mates, then it became more and more serious, but always playing live. I have been playing online for three years and PKR is really fascinating compared to other rooms, the approach to online poker is very special on PKR.
What was your tournament and the journey to the final table like?
The Masters has a really nice structure - it is interesting - you have to be patient and concentrated.The first three hours were very difficult. I had to take some risks to stay alive, it worked as I had the second highest stack with 50 players left. That's when I started to believe...
What did you feel when you reached the final table? Excited? Confident?
I was so relieved (and proud) when I reached the final table. Very excited yes, but not confident as I wasn't in a good position to win it.
Who was your toughest opponent in the tournament, and why?
A very experienced player, Piratenation, very hard to play against, with a large range of starting hands. He is very aggressive and tricky to play against: I was looking forward to changing table!!!
Do you think 2010 will be a good year?!
I don't know if 2010 will be a good year but indeed I can tell it is starting quite well!
