Drusal brought a prohibitive chip lead to the final table, his 222,000 stack eclipsing his nearest foe's stack, EVILBET guarding 85,000 chips. With such a huge advantage, it was no surprise that the German went on to win the weekly high roller event with something to spare, picking up more than $8,000 in winnings...

With blinds at 1K/2K/200 and with only one player in possession of more than 50K in chips, this final table was always going to be a real test for the chip leader's five opponents, and so it proved. On the first hand of the final table, the 2nd shortest stack Egghead88 cold-called Drusel's open-shove, though his A-6 could not halt the unstoppable chip leader's A-7 prevailing. The Brit, a qualifier for the 2009 WSOP Main Event with PKR, departed in 6th place for a no-doubt disappointing $1,645.
Next up, 1potato2's turn. The PKR Open champion and most experienced PKR MTT entrant at this final table, moved in for 22K with A-K, only to be called and outdrawn by Drusel's now invincible K-T.
Within minutes, EVILBET had limped with A-A, allowing Drusel to limp with 6-7s. Once the flop brought the open-ended straight flush draw, the result of the hand was never in doubt, Drusel completing the straight flush on the turn. The chip leader moved into 3-handed play with 273K to JASBiH's 160K and Kometen1's meager 36K stack.
Heads up play was reached moments later as JASBiH's A-K was outrun by Drusel's J-8, the chip leader making his move pre flop into his opponent's big slick. JASBiH added another fine finish to his PKR resume, having amassed numerous titles including Open, Grand Prix and $10K GTD wins.
Heads up
The hand left Kometen1 facing a 438K - to - 31K deficit, a disadvantage which proved to difficult for him to overcome. The veteran cash gamer earned $5,170 for his effort, while Drusel finished with a victory which never looked in doubt, the German helped somewhat by the deck in his search for a Big Shot victory at his third attempt.
