Champion: RN1975 - $1,717
Art certainly imitates life, as does poker so it seems. With England's cricketers applying untold pressure to the Aussies this month, it came as no surprise to see just two of the 'home' side make it to the final table of the Aussie Classic last week. Bundibear fared best to finish in third place for $700, however it was PKR Community legend PirateNation who entered heads up play with a 3-1 chip lead over his opponent, the German RN1975. With by far the most impressive PKR MTT stats and earnings ($75K), it should have been plain sailing for the Pirate, though he could not close the deal, departing in 2nd place for $1,018. The winner took 5hrs 8 mins to claim his first Aussie Classic. Bonza...
Omaha Showdown $4K GTD - 15:30 GMT
Buy-in: $50

Champion: Kojak37 - $1,120
With little previous Omaha Showdown form on offer, this week's final table was an unpredictable affair. Two Brits, two Frenchmen and a brace of Dutch players reached the final table, yet none could reach the major money positions, Forum Queen Tigerrr best-placing in 4th. The community's standard bearer profited by $380 in a rare Omaha Showdown appearance. Romano94, present at the Aussie Classic final table earlier in the day, could only manage 7th while Columbian ERNY1966 departed in 6th. Winner Kojak37 eventually prevailed over heads up opponent malin69 to claim only his second PKR MTT win after a 5hrs 13mins of concentration.

Spaniard Prinzessin last night denied a trio of Brits all searching for their first Sunday Open title, booking his first major PKR win in the process. The event, featuring a monster 919 field, took 7hrs 43 mins with an impressive $8,795 on offer to the top three, all for a buy-in of just $22.
