The Frenchman, with only his third PKR tournament cash, emerged the winner from a tricky heads up battle with runner-up REINERMARIAKRON. The German, winner of two Gold Rush events within 72 hours back in January, was making his 30th final table appearance.
TheThimster claimed 3rd place, adding a 444th final table to his lengthy resume, although it was 10th placed DonnieJackMala who came into the final table with the most impressive credentials. The Italian's record includes wins in the Daily $17K, Grand Prix and ClubPKR Gold Level+ $5k Added event, among his 58 victories. He stands 3rd in the All Time Money List with more than $100k in PKR tournament earnings.
Bounties
Another disastrous week for Team Bounty with PKR_Jabba flying the limp, dismal flag in 318th place. The PKR TV commentator extraordinaire bowed out after his QQ remarkably failed to spike a third queen against crisp99's KK.
PKR_Danski, out in 329th place, couldn't shake off the vultures as his A-Q fell to OtherHellas's K-Js in a 3-way pot. Bounty new girl PKR_Anne hit the rail in 347th after her short stacked 4-5 failed to outrun blusatico's K-6. Another making her debut, PKR_Rebecca was busted holding QJ to Toalettborsten's KT, departing in 423rd place.
PKR_Michael's poor race-winning form continued, losing with AK to wpnhfu's TT, while the usually dependable PKR_Chrissie took an early bath in 567th, her fate decided by Team PKR Pro callmebabe. The Irishman called her all-in on the turn having flopped top set, however Chrissie had turned a flush for a good lead in the hand. A king on the river filled up callmebabe's boat and the fair maiden hit the rail.
