The new PKR website has no been live for a week – and it seems as though the new features and content are a hit.
Last week alone saw just 300,000 people visit the site around half a million times between them, viewing well over two million pages in the process. To put this into some context, these figures represent an increase of 49%, 76% and 32% respectively from the week before.
It would appear as though My PKR is the biggest draw, with over 111,000 people looking at their my PKR section during its first week of existence. People are also making friends too, with over 155,000 friend requests sent in the first week alone.
So where are the visitors coming from? Our top ten countries in order of visits are (1) UK (2) France (3) Germany (4) Canada (5) Netherlands (6) Portugal (7) Belgium (8) Australia (9) Sweden and (10) Spain.
And what are they looking at? Lots of things it would seem. As mentioned earlier, My PKR is proving to be insanely popular. Over 32,000 people have read our premium poker strategy content in Raise Your Game. Our poker forums have been viewed over 83,000 times. The stories in the News & Events area of the Community section have been read over 30,000 times. The all new PKR Shop is also proving to be popular with nearly 13,000 people checking out what cool gear they can get for their PKR points.
And that’s just after the first week – onwards and upwards!
