As much as it would clearly improve multi tabling experience, i would much more regret the feeling of reading other players: why do they look at their cards? why now? How many times?
So many deduction elements lost... plus so many manipulation moves that we'll never be able to replay, like in real life...

just 2 things. 1: i l ike the fact of looking at your cards, you see others, and how many times they look, so you can get a feel how sure they are with their hand. one's that rarely looks, usually has a good 2 in their hand, or a short memory if they look alot, or use to bluff, etc.MANY WAYS GREAT & 2: when is payal going to be available in the CANADA AND THE U.S? i think we deserve the same rights as the OVERSEAS COUNTRIES. i don;t believe in plastic, cash is my way, so do i HAVE to get a credit card just to play for real money? that i don;t think is fair, so please bring paypal to CANADA and the U.S. thanks. and another thing as for the cards up choice, i agree with the comments above, it is a matter of choice, and only a few tables have this option so far. DON;T MAKE IT TROUGHOUT!! it's easy to click on mouse, plus it also gives you the stradegy of how others play. thanks again.

I am not sure about the cards up tables. One of the great things about PKR is that players have to look at there cards. Its the nearest thing to a Tell online.

If you make PKR hole cards Face up, I'll stop playing and head over to poker stars or some other site.. this is ridiculous. Having to look at my cards is one of the reasons why I play at PKR, it gives it that unique realistic feeling - something no other poker site (that I know of) has to offer.

Well, I think (just as others) cards face up isn't really a good plan. I mean it's what unique in pkr. Cards face up and there's not much difference with Full tilt or other sites, except its much slower and much noisier. Cards face down is one hell of a reason I keep playin pkr.

No to cards up it is an option now - but later it will be the standard- what remedy does it right that was necessary??- looking at your cards by a click of a mosue??--not much an imposition surtely-- this must be taken into account with pkr grander plan which is more multi tabling-- which will destroy the real feel of pkr- there r no card up live rooms so why do it here- no reason no neeed!!

If you go trough with the Cards-up Tables, I will strongly consider withdrawing my PKR Bankroll.

When the phase tournaments were introduced, the sit and go-action dried up. This will happen to the regular tables as well if the Cards up-tables are implemented.

What will happen? The games at the non-eye tables will be extremely harder (as all the fish have migrated to the new eye-tables), and all the players that prefers not to play against professionals, would have to follow. The regular games will dry up.

I urge you, PKR, to block this terrible new idea. WE DO NOT WANT THESE NEW TABLES!

Well. NO. Its not a "feature" its part of the gameplay. Either you do it or you don't. There is absolutely no point in half the table having cards face up and half has it face down.

The point is to be able to spot ppl when they check their cards 2-3 times to see if that str8 hit or not... you sitting with 2 pairs and ready to bet hard.

If you classify cards face up or down as a feature like preferring red or green chairs in the gameroom - then you don't understand much of this debate :D

And for stones4 - doh - on tv the players themselves need to peek at their cards even tho the TV-audience see everything (face up).

When people disagree this strongly about a simple feature, it's best to let them decide for themselves.

I'd like to try cards up, but not sure which I'd prefer (until I try both ways).

BETTER PLANTS? How about making it easier to bet 1/2 the pot (or 1/3 or 2/3) after the flop? The current shortcut buttons only make sense for preflop play.

I just took a peak at a play money table to see how this new feature works with your hole cards thingy. And It really does suck..

Take´s the real live experience out of the poker room .. But I guess if it is optional then it does not matter much..

Im the sort of player who doesnt look at his cards untill it is my turn so that i dont make a decision without all the information before me first! If you make it cards up it will kill put off players like me! Dont change your what you have so original and the reason why alot of people play at your site!!!

Ever been at a table where the player takes ages and the abuse flows? well chances are they have 4 games up, having to check the cards then decide. Cards up on 4 windows will defo speed things along...

Keep the face down cards!! In online poker you don't have many tells - this is maybe the only thing to spot if a player is going for that draw

What you could do to make multitabling easier is to keep the cards up only on the miniview. Then you must check the hand on the table you are sitting on - but you don't have to repeatedly check all the other hands aswell

IF you fix the multitable issue so you can actually have two equally sized tables (or more) up in fullsize (side by side/tiled) then that would also be great.

Keep up the good work - but don't destroy the uniqueness of PKR (keep face down hands on main table).

while on the subject of more realistic plants (i am ecstatic) why not do away with the talk bans. i can see the merit in everyone speaking one language, and that's fine.

Omg cards up is really a terrible idea - youre basically spoiling one of the features that makes this site unique - that you can see when youre opponent is looking at his/her cards.

Why PKR would not want to continue distinguishing itself from all the other trash thats out there ill never know.

Also can we please get a "save" multiple avatars" option next time (i dont just mean different outfits i mean different faces and sexes etc)

About time PKR sorted the cards up view, rake is the oil to the PKR engine! Speeds things up too, less delays when people MTT tournies or look away etc.

Next need to sort MTTabling view with some sort of stacking feature I would guess. Then sort the ante structures to be higher and the blinds flatter...

I love the new view, I dont have to keep on lookin at the cards for a str8 and whatnot. And you guys have Paypal now? Sweet! Can I make a suggestion for the next update? IS there some way of you guys showing us when someone is watching us play at private tables or watching us play we dont know? And I have 2 facial piercings and i cant wear them both and yet I can wear earrings and a necklace? There should be a way that U.S.A. players can upgrade their accessories, such as tattoos and clothing . We are being punished because stupid laws that we had no say so with. There are plenty of people who would like to play PKR for real money , but we are denied that. So if you could find a way to at least let us get PKR points, at least its something to play for .... thank you from the land of the free .....lol
