Ten second interview
Danski: How did you use your $28K Masters winnings, and how did the win change your year?
Thomasinder: I'm student, so winning the Masters meant that I didn't have to get an part time job at weekends. Instead I could live the good life and party alot, and play more poker.
D: What's your next PKR goal?
T: My next goal is to win something major like the Masters again, or the Sunday $30K. So far this year has been ultra dry for me with almost no big wins.
D: What is the best piece of poker advice you can pass on?
T: People dont bluff nearly as much as you think (and that 2c-3c UTG should be raised).
D: What advice would you give to a new player with a small bankroll and big poker aspirations?
T: First of all read a poker book and/or become a member of any virtual training site where you can see videos and experience how the pros play. Playing MTTs isn't really the best way to build a bankroll since there can be long periods when you don't cash at all. Therfore I would recommend players to start grinding up their rolls in Sit & Gos or at the cash tables, and have that as their main bankroll income. Then play a few MTTs now & then to chase that big bankroll boost!
