It would appear that the PKR community is home to some bards of the baize judging by the highly amusing ‘Poem for PKR’ thread in the forums.

Started by mrpipe888, the thread has blossomed into a showcase for PKR’s finest poets including mumbolungo, alexist089, northan, and gaztheyorkie.

Featuring killer couplets such as “Ashley Hames has the look of a winner/Pity his hair is like a dog’s dinner” – not to mention a brave literary attempt to rhyme ‘Guinness’ with, well, a word for a gentleman’s private parts. It’s a thread not to be missed.

In an homage to Norwegian football commentator Bjorge Lillelien; William Shakespeare, William Wordsworth, Percy Bysshe Shelley, John Keats, Lord Byron – you boys have taken one hell of a beating!
