What’s your job title?
Receptionist
OK then, but what do you really do all day?
Organising everything from meetings, flights, couriers, taxis, cars, hotels and off-site conference rooms to sorting out art and flowers for the office. Everyday is different so it's hard to give a set list of what I do - and that's a good thing.
How many people do you think you say hello to at work in a given year?
Hundreds! I sit at the front of the office so I see everyone that comes in and everybody that goes out.
Anyone famous?
A fair few big name poker players and celebs make their way through our doors - but you never know who's got a contract with who and discretion, as they say, is the better part of valour!
What do you like most about your job?
I love my job and I think it’s rare to be able to say that. Everyday is different, I like everyone I work with - they make the working day good fun. I have made some really good friends here.
What keeps you up at night?
My crazy dreams! There is not one night that passes where I don’t have a weird, surreal dream and I wake up at the end of them most nights. I have the imagination of a five year old! Then the next day I'll tell people about them!
If you could have one super-power that you could only use at work, what would it be?
I would have the slide from the Barclaycard advert, it would make my commute a lot quicker! A small one around the office wouldn’t go amiss either!
