Danski: Adrien, you came sixth in the PKR Live II Main Event won by fellow Team PKR Pro discomonkey. Tell us how you got through day one, and what new PKR Live attendees can expect from the first day…

Adrien: Day one went pretty well, my stack was never been in danger. The level of poker was very good, and it was a pleasure to play in the event. The new PKR Live attendees shouldn’t worry - the atmosphere is just great, and it is so good to meet the players you have played online. Whatever happens it will be a great experience for all.

D: What was your approach when you reached the final table?

A: Well, I was short stacked, so not the best conditions to start a final table! I was waiting for a lovely AA, KK or QQ, that unfortunately never came. I hope I can do better at PKR Live III.

D: You’ve since won a major title and a massive stack of cash! Has your game got better since April, and what do you think of your chances at PKR Live III?

A: It is true that things clicked after PKR Live II, making the final table boosted my confidence. As far as winning PKR Live III is concerned, I can’t help thinking that if you can win in Macau, you can win PKR Live III.

D: As a Team PKR Pro and an APT champion, do you expect players to come after you? Will this make your life easier, or harder?

A: To me, it will be more difficult, as I think most players at the table will know who I am. I would prefer to play incognito, but I am not going to complain, because after all, it will be fun!

D: Give us a couple of tips for those players who may have never played a live event, let alone a two-day $1K buy-in live event, before…

A: Just play the same poker as you play online, you don’t have to change the way you play because you are not used to playing live. There always has to be a first time, so try to make the best of it, and remember whatever the result, it will be a good experience for your poker career.

D: Adrien, we wish you the very best of luck, and hope that you can bring the title home for Team PKR Pro!

A: Thank you Danski, and looking forward to meeting you all at the tables!
