However, this last week has gone well. I'm up some at the cash tables, and have also reached two tournament final tables. The first one was in a $300 live tournament at a casino here in Sweden, where I finished sixth [for $2K). [Pokey also qualified for the $1,500 Heads Up Grand Slam Final satellite]
I also took down the six-handed Prime Time #4 $15,000 GTD tournament on PKR last Thursday [for $3,521]. The tournament began terribly, with my stack reduced to just 1,150 after losing a pot all-in pre flop with TT v QQ. Then I picked up JJ, pushed all-in and doubled up against AQ. I slowly built my stack until we reached 14 players left. I was pretty short and started playing really aggressively, and got some good cards too, enabling me to reach heads up play. It was a good heads up battle against a Norwegian guy [PKR Master ovnis]. He played very well, but it went my way when I 3-bet him pre flop with 67o and he pushed. I was committed and couldn't fold, and outdrew him on the river...sorry man.
After that I was pretty happy about my play. I ended up calling his all-in with A7 against his KJ, and hit the ace to end it. I hope I'm now back in the flow! My next event will be the WSOPE next week, where I'll play the £1K event. I will take that one down! [Sadly, Henrik busted on Day 1 of the £1K]
Cheers all!
