The eleven-game Series kicked off with more than 600 players vying for a piece of the $16,130 prize pool. After 5 hrs 44 mins and almost 1,000 rebuys, Norwegian 1337n00b emerged victorious, claiming the first Super Series bracelet. Hot on his heels were DeSmeerpiijp (2nd), Spazpecker (3rd) and hepi08 (4th). Forum favourite brutusnr1 provided the glamour at the final table, eventually finishing in ninth place.

Short-handed events tend to test even the toughest of poker warriors, so no surprise to see quality at this final table. Taking the lion's share of the $34,950 prize pool, Frenchman Z92Jseries became the latest Super Series champ to pick up a bracelet along with $7,689. It took 5 hrs 26 mins to find a winner, with Swede MasterFri bagging second place. Making another deep run, brutusnr1 notched his second 9th place of the Series. Keep an eye out for the main man as he aims for a trio of 9th's later this evening...

Event #4 $11,000 GTD Terminator (buy-in $20)
With 50% of the buy-in going into the standard prize pool and the remainder on your own head, Terminators have always been an interesting slant on the usual tournament strategy. When you bust a player, 80% of their value is immediately credited to your PKR account, with 20% added to your own head value. So even an early bustout can pay dividends...
