When we came up with the 'Stepping up' concept at the back end of last year we could never envisage what a huge success it would actually be.
Giving small stakers the chance to play at a higher level, we thought we'd be lucky to get maybe one or two cashes over the coming months, but our players have gone far above and beyond our expectations with cash after cash in the weekly challenge.
It is becoming a bit of a cliche now, but once again this week's vote winner will have their work cut out to better PokerIsLife - who cashed two of four events in our last article.
Anyway you know the drill by now folks. Our three contenders each state their case and whoever has the most votes by 17:00 GMT Wednesday walks away with $43 worth of tickets to some of our most popular tourneys. The only thing we ask in return is that they tell us how they got on.
To cast your vote just enter the name of the contender you think is most worthy in the comments section below and tell us why. Only one vote per person will count.

"Hi,
Rozzie here :-) I hope you're well!
I would love to take the 'Stepping up' challenge!
My BR is $303 at the moment which I've grown from $50 but the difficulty is being able to afford the bigger buy-in events where I'll get more of a challenge. I've had some excellent coaching from Disco, INUC, Brutus, wulfy and Destacker and it would be so great to be able to play a bigger buy-in event."

"Hello,
I'm neck1980 - 29-years-old and new to PKR, having joined a few months ago. I've played freerolls and ring games on other sites, but now I am staying put here.
I am a small stakes ring game player and my best performance on PKR came when I turned $10 into $114 a few week's ago.
I have also played a few tourneys and freerolls on PKR and managed to make the final table and finish in the money - proving that I have stickabilty and am not a donk.
I feel given a half a chance I would make a name for myself at PKR. I know its coming, just when and how is another question - after all we all need the poker Gods help now and again:)
VOTE FOR ME thanks ..."

"Hi
I would love the opportunity to be selected for 'Stepping up'. I have been playing for a few months on PKR now after trying a few different poker sites, I find the game play at PKR better than the rest so have stuck with it. In that time I played enough to get my sign up and my Christmas bonuses released which is a lot of poker. LOL.
I have made several deposits playing low stakes and really enjoy my poker. The downside is the amount of bad beats suffered at low stakes from hands you wouldn't really expect to be getting called with. My main reason for wanting to try 'Stepping up' is that I don't have the bankroll to afford the more expensive tournaments and would love to see if the game really is different when moving up a level.
I play mostly turbo Sit & Go's at the moment because you get a quicker return on your cash, but I have started venture into the bigger standard tournaments and have learned the patience required for those. My two most recent results were 58th from 998 on a $250 freeroll and a seventh from 2,500 in a PKR points freeroll.
I'm an aggresive player so find that if I'm playing tables with other decent players I can hold my own but when playing with begginers I tend to lose a lot more often. I think I could be succesfull with the 'Stepping up' tickets and would appreciate the chance to find out."
Think you have what it takes to 'Step up?'
If you are a small staker who has made at least one deposit and think you could hold your own at a higher level of poker then email us at News&Events@pkr.com and tell us why we should pick you.
