Team PKR Pros - 8. Qualifiers - 3. That was the score at the conclusion of this year's WSOP. With 35 qualifiers and seven Team PKR Pros in action, it was a race to the money and a place in WSOP history.

This year's Team PKR comprised a mix of Road to Vegas qualifiers, Main Event satellite winners and Team PKR Pros, all heading to Las Vegas for their shot at fame, fortune and a coveted World Series of Poker bracelet. Three pros - james666, kingkai84 and golfpro699 - returned with results, while three qualifiers also finished in the money.

Road to Vegas qualifiers

Twenty five players headed out to Las Vegas in search of a bracelet, each of them winners of a Road to Vegas Freeroll and a 2009 WSOP package. Three emerged with cashes and a first WSOP result to their name...

TheWiggy - Event #7 NLHE - 149th $3,276

Christian "TheWiggy" Hartwig qualified for entry to a No Limit Hold'em event after winning a 209-runner freeroll populated by players who had entered any WSOP Main Event final. Once in Vegas, the Australian cashed in Event #7, a 3-day No Limit Hold'em tournament with a $1,500 buy-in and a massive 2,791 runners.

CB750 - Event #36 NLHE - 43rd $10,735

Ingemar "CB750" Axman outlasted 161 opponents to earn his $3,500 package to the WSOP, having qualified for that freeroll after being dealt a straight flush at PKR's cash tables. He went on to become the most successful Ingemar in WSOP history after finishing in 43rd place in Event #36, a 1,695-runner $2K NLHE tournament. The Norwegian's effort earned him $10,735. The tournament was also Ingemar's first live event.

xzseex - Main Event  - 199th $36,626

Ilosvay "xzseex" Zsolt qualified for the $10K buy-in Main Event by winning the 20-runner R2V Springfest Tournament of Champions. The Hungarian made PKR history as the first qualifier to go deep in the Main Event, with an impressive showing that resulted in a $36,626 payday. He busted on Day 5 of the marathon $61 million event.
