The final two days of August brought a $4K Primetime runner up finish and a $1,700 PKR Live III package and the Londoner didn't stop there. Three Primetime final tables in four days (including two back-to-back wins) secured his place at the top of the Player of the Month nominees. PKR Open and Aussie Classic final tables rounded off a superb period for the young pro.
What's his secret? In a recent interview TheSqueeze said,"I've realised what a huge help it is to have variety in your life. It's easy to sit in front of a computer for 16 hours a day, but when things don't go well you can get stuck there. So doing things like going out drinking or exercising (not recommended in that order) or seeing a mate can do a lot to change your mood and perspective and reignite the poker fire." Just six cashes adorn Team PKR Pro Kai Paulsen's notable results page, though all are significant. The $30K champion despaired over near misses in several Primetime events, as well as a runner up finish in the Big Shot. The Norwegian star is a fixture in the weekly high roller event, having bagged second place in the High Stakes Championships version back in May for $9K.
