A record 107-runner field took to the felt for a shot at the biggest High Roller prize to date. Team PKR Pro discomonkey went deep, bubbling the final table for a seventh place finish worth $2,140.
The final six included two players familiar with the High Roller event having enjoyed success in its predecessor, the Saturday Big Shot. Frenchman topolino38 won his Big Shot title in July 09, while two-time Big Shot runner-up mayotacker has reached the final table in the event on four previous occasions.
In this event however mayotacker couldn't improve on previous results, adding a sixth place to his impressive resume. Frenchman YOUPSETTEhihihi filled the fifth place spot for $3,745 while the Czech Republic's topnon earned $4,815 for fourth place at his first PKR final table.
Another Frenchman topolino38 added $6,688 to his previous $7,000 Big Shot score with a third place finish, leaving Poland's Fristajlo (at his sixth PKR final table) and British $5K Late Night runner up Pablo484 to fight for the title. With fortune on his side (see video below!), Pablo484 prevailed to collect his biggest payout yet - $14,980.
